The committees that carry the regional work forward
CRASA advances harmonisation through standing committees, each focused on a defined area of ICT and Postal regulation. Members of the committees are drawn from the national regulatory authorities and report to the Annual General Meeting.

Spectrum and Frequency Management
Coordinates approaches to spectrum planning, assignment and cross-border interference, and develops common positions for regional and international frequency forums.
ICT
Markets, Competition and Economics
Works on market analysis, interconnection, wholesale and retail pricing, and the economic frameworks that support fair competition across member markets.
Postal
Postal and Logistics
Addresses postal sector regulation, universal service, addressing and the modernisation of postal and logistics networks in the region.
Cross-sector
Consumer Affairs and Protection
Develops guidance on quality of service, complaint handling, transparency and the protection of consumers of communications and postal services.

Legal and Regulatory Affairs
Supports the harmonisation of legal and regulatory instruments, model frameworks and the alignment of national rules with regional commitments.

Human and Institutional Capacity
Coordinates training, knowledge sharing and capacity building so that member regulators can apply harmonised approaches in practice.
